2022 Sino Cultural Day at Cerritos Library

In partnership with Global Culture Education Foundation and Cerritos Library, the Organization’s Sino Cultural Day for the first time since the pandemic resumed in-person program and welcomed local audiences at Cerritos Library in the City of Cerritos on the afternoon of March 19, 2022.  

Featuring performances by local artists and young talents, this year’s Sino Cultural Day presented Kung-fu demonstration by Shaolin Temple Cultural Center USA, Peking Opera showcase by C Dream students, Guzheng music by renowned artist Beibei Monter and students, Lion Dance, Hulusi music, Chinese folk dance, pipa music, diabolo demonstration, among others. Audiences were not only mesmerized by all the riveting performances but enjoyed the onsite workshops and hand-on activities of calligraphy, Chinese painting, lantern crafts, and Guzheng throughout the afternoon. 

The special guests included Mayor of Cerritos Grace Hu, Mayor Pro Tem Chuong Vo, ABC USD Superintend Mary Sieu, and other friends from the City Council and School District.
