To support members’ endeavors in preserving and promoting Chinese art and culture across the country, Sino US Performing Arts Organization launched its art grant program in 2016.
This member-only grant funds members’ art projects either in partnership with local cultural institutions or held by its own organization. There are two types of grants active members can choose to apply: Sino Cultural Day Grant and Regular Art Grant, with different funding amount and eligibility requirement.
Grant application opens every November and results are announced late December or early January.
What the Grant Funds

- Production cost of art event/workshop
- Artist fee
- Art consulting fee
- Marketing related to art planning
Grant Type:
Eligibility:
I. Regular Art Grant applicant must be:

- Current SINOUS Individual Member or Nonprofit Institutional Member.
- Actively engaged in Chinese performing arts.
Note: For-profit Institutional Member can apply for the art grant through its individual member status; each for-profit institutional member can recommend up to five individual members free of charge.
II. Sino Cultural Day Grant applicant must be:

- Current SINOUS Nonprofit Institutional Member.
- Actively engaged in Chinese performing arts and experienced in planning and organizing cultural events.
Cost:
NO application fee is required.
