C DREAM Master Workshop

This year, C Dream invites dance masters from China’s renowned Beijing Dance Academy, including the world-leading expert of Chinese ethnic & folk dance, Prof. Du Gao, to tour three partner schools in Seattle, San Francisco, and Houston, meeting C Dream students and touring local dance education institutions. The group also hosts lectures to the public in the three cities as well as Los Angeles.

Let’s meet this year’s world-class dance masters

Du Gao

Renowned dancer, choreographer, and educator, Du Gao is a professor and graduate adviser at his alma mater, Beijing Dance Academy, chairs the BDA’s Academic Committee, and serves as Chief Specialist at Research Center for Minzu Dance.

Yuan Yuan

Getting B.A. and M.F.A. from Beijing Dance Academy, Yuan Yuan is an Associate Professor at BDA’s Ethnic & Folk Dance Department, a recipient of China’s National Art Grant, and Best Choreographer of Seoul International Dance Competition.

Lili Deng

A lecturer at Beijing Dance Academy’s Ethnic and Folk Dance Department, Deng received her M.F.A. from BDA and is a recipient of China’s National Art Grant.
